Where Was I, Where Am I?
What Day Is It, And What Time?
I Neither See Colors Nor Light
It-‘s Almost As If I-‘ve Lost My Eyesight
Sleep Evades Me Till The Start Of Day
With A Heavy Heart, I Sink Down And Pray
My Unrelenting Tears And Running Nose,
Find No Solace In Stories Or Jokes
Now, The Earth Is Soft And The Breeze Cool
The Sun Must Have Departed And Set
Darkness And Darkness All Around
And No Pillar To Hold On And Rest
I See A Shimmer In The Close-By Pond,
Is It The Moon Or The Angel Of Death?
Heart Pumping, I Sit Down To Rest
Death, I Am Ready, I Am Good As Dead
Reflections In The Pond Speak Back To Me,
Imitating My Every Sensation And Feeling
Across I See A Similar Reflection
Of A Tree That Is Bleeding And Dying
Is It Seemingly A Tree Or A Human?
Puzzled I Look Up To See
Why Haven-‘t I Seen It, And I Been Seen,
For We Were Here And Have Always Been
What-‘s The Distance? Across A Pond,
Physically Stretching Into Sea And Ocean
In Reality, Thought And Feeling,
There-‘s No Distance, Not Even A Step.
No Pathway Has Perished,
No Real Distance Ever Increased,
In Heart And In Soul,
There-‘s No One Else, To Whom I Belong
