I Found Myself Standing On The Beach
I-‘ve Visited So Many Times Before, Always Promising Never To Return.
Sometimes Just To Sit And Watch The Waves,
Sometimes To Hurl Stones, Anything To Shatter The Mirror.
Every Time Gives The Same Elation.
Here Are All The Elements Of My Life Are In Chaos And Harmony.
Whenever I Visit The Beach, I Know Its Dangers.
As I Let The Surf Lap Against Me I Feel The Force.
Yet It Counts For Nothing.
The Urge To Venture In And Bathe, To Swim On And On.
Let The Water Form Around Me And Carry Me,
Its Warmth Suffocated All My Senses.
Sometimes-Unseen Rocks Rip And Tear, Forcing Out Tears Of Guilt,
I Persuade Myself This Time I Will Avoid Them.
I Am Invincible.
Oh! The Arrogance.
Childishness.
Only The Sea Can Decide. It Will Either Take Me Onto Them Or Keep Me Safe.
A Fish May Slip And Snap Against My Skin.
The Water Is Deeper Than Faster I Ever Known It.
Making Me Shudder, Thrashing Back To The Shore.
I Know The Dangers Of The Sea, But I Still Swim.
It Glistens And Caresses Me.
Waves Soothe And Warm Me.
I Can See The Shore And Know I Must Return To It.
Until The Darkness Comes I Shall Stay
