Shy And Abandoned, I Waited,
Wilting Into The Hot And Burning Sun,
As It Weighed Down Upon My Fragile Petals,
And Left Me To Die Without A Drop Of Water,
Living Off Of The Dew From My Own Teardrops.
As My Leaves Began To Fall Onto The Dirty Ground,
And My Petals Lost Their Color And Moisture,
I Waited To Watch Myself Fade Away…

My Stem Was Lifted From My Very Being,
As I Gasped For Air From What Was Embracing Me.
I Noticed The Soft Touch Of Gentle Hands,
Caressing Me So Carefully-Â…
Frightened That They Would Bruise The Last Of My Beauty
Until Then I Noticed… Your Eyes…
Your Teardrops Fell In Place Of Mine,
And Watered The Life Back Into Me.
Your Breath Gave Me The Warmth To Make It Through,
The Dark And Chilling Nights.
Your Touch Gave Me The Courage To
Show The True Colors Of My Petals,
That I Had For So Long Let Slowly Disappear
You Have Welcomed Me As I Surrender Myself To You,
With The Knowledge That You’ll
Embrace Me Without Expectations,
That You’ll Love Me Without Intentions,
That You’ll Keep Me Without Motives,
And Hold Me With Only The Knowledge,
That You’ll Never Let Me Go…
