The Other Half Of Me
By: Chiqui
I Was Chasing Shadows In The Dark
When I Get To Close They Disappear Into Thin Air.
Like An Acorn Tree In Autum
Loosing Her Leaves One By One.
Just Like The Way I Am Loosing My Mind
Bit By Bit And Cell By Cell .
A Heart That Is Torn, Tattered And Broken In Two
And Filled With Emptiness
Every Mountain I Ever Climbed
Crumbled To The Ground.
The Day I Had To Say Goodbye
To The Love I Thought I Had Found ,
Only To Find Out She Was Never Really Mine.
My World Stop Turning,
Stars No Longer Shine,
And The Moon Through My Window No Longer Peeps,
No More Whispers In The Wind Do I Hear,
Just A Hollow Of Echoed Emptiness In My Soul.
I Stumbled And Fell,
There Was No One To Catch Me,
Tried To Get Up But Fell Again
Just Further And Further.
Pieces Scatterd To All Four Corners Of The World,
Never To Be Put Together Again,
As One Piece Will Always Be Missing
The Other Half Of Me,
My Baby Girl Charen.
