Going To The Beach Today
Get Everything In The Car
All Piled In
With Us Kids
When We Arrive
It-‘s A Mad Dash To The Water
In We Get
And The Parents Make Us Get Out
To Put On Sunscreen
Then Back In The Water We Go
I See Something In The Water
And I Pick It Up
It Feels Squishy At First
And Then Like Knives In My Hand
Mom Rushes In
Puts Some Sand On It
-ŗit Hurts So Bad, - I Cry
Mom Says Never To Touch A Jelly-Fish Again
And I Decide Not To Go Back In The Water
So I Pick Up The Shovel And Pail
To Try To Make My First Sand Castle
I Built A Moat Around It First
And The Water Slowly Seeps In
And I Begin To Build The Walls
After A Long Time Of Working
I Have Finished
It Is The Biggest Sand Castle Ever
But Not The Prettiest
But It Is Still My First
Mommy Wants A Picture Of It
I Named It Fort Sand
She Takes The Picture
And I Trip And Fall
Right In The Middle Of Fort Sand
I Cry And Cry
I Can-‘t Rebuild It
It Took Too Long
All I Have Now Is A Picture
So I Cry And Cry Some More
It-‘s Time To Go
So We Dry Off
And Get Into The Car
And Talk About What We Did
Not Me, I Still Cried
Halfway Home
My Skin Starts To Burn
I Start To Turn Red
I Cry
It Hurts Really Bad
Everyone Is Red Too
Everyone-‘s Skin Is Burning
Mom Calls It A Sunburn
I Cry The Rest Of The Way Home
I Never Want To Go To The Beach Again
